Carrot and Cumin Falafel and Houmous

Servings: Falafel - Makes: 12 (Houmous - Serves: 8)

To make the falafel:

1. Add the onion, chilli, garlic, cumin, chickpeas, gram flour and carrot to a
food processor and blend until a thick
paste has formed.

2. Split the mixture into 12 pieces and
roll each into a ball. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and fry the falafel
for 4-5 minutes until golden all over and cooked through.


For the homous:

1. Simply add all the ingredients to a
food processor and blend until smooth, season to taste.
