Cauliflower and Broccoli Base Pizza

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6, then add the cauliflower and broccoli to a food processor and blend until the vegetables resemble a fine crumb. Add the vegetable crumbs to a bowl with the ground flax, water, dried oregano, wholemeal flour and garlic granules and mix to form a dough. Roll the dough into a 10-inch circle on a sheet of baking parchment on an oven tray and place in the oven to bake for 10 minutes.


For the sauce, add the tinned tomatoes, tomato purée, onion granules, garlic, oregano and sugar to a saucepan over a medium heat and cook for 15-20 minutes until the sauce is thick, then use a stick blender to blend the sauce until smooth, season to taste.


Spread the pizza sauce onto the base and add the toppings, then place back into the oven for 10-15 minutes.
