Put the peas, kale and broccoli into a pan of boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes until the broccoli begins to soften.


Next, add the peas, kale, broccoli, onion, oats, white bread, walnuts, soy sauce and mixed spice to a food processor and pulse until the mixture comes together to form a rough dough, season to taste. Split the mixture into 5 and press into burgers.


To cook, add the vegetable oil into a frying pan over a medium-high heat and pan-fry the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
