Plant Based Grilled Bratwurst

For the seitan, mix the dry and wet ingredients separately. Next, mix them together, first stirring with a wooden spoon, and then kneading well by hand.


Cut the dough into 8 portions. Shape each piece by hand into a sausage and roll each one tightly in a 20 x 20-cm sheet of cling film. Knot the ends.


Put the sausages in a steamer and steam them for 30 minutes. Leave to cool down completely. Remove the clingfilm.


Brush the sausages with rapeseed oil and grill them over direct heat for 3–4 minutes each side


Warm the bread rolls in the barbecue for 2 minutes, cut them open, fill each one with two sausages and top with mustard.
