Add the oil to a saucepan, then add the onion and jackfruit and cook for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften. Then add the garlic, oregano, cumin and paprika and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.


Next, add the orange juice, Marmite, maple syrup, vegan Worcester sauce and passata. Cook for a further 4-5 minutes until the liquid has almost absorbed then mash the jackfruit.
