Method

To make the base, add the butter to a saucepan over a medium heat and allow to melt, then add the sugar, cocoa powder, biscuits and desiccated coconut and mix well until fully combined. Put this in a lined tray and spread evenly and pack down to form the base, place in the refrigerator to set.

For the custard layer, add the butter, soya milk, custard powder and icing sugar to a mixing bowl and whisk together until a smooth buttercream is formed. Spread this over the base and place in the fridge for at least an hour.

For the topping, mix the melted chocolate and melted butter together until combined. Spread over the custard, leave in the fridge until set, then cut into 12-16 squares.
