Orange, Carrot, and Ginger Sorbet

Servings: Makes: approx. 500ml (17 fl oz) sorbet

Calories 131, Fat 0.2g, Saturates 0g, Carbohydrate 33g, Sugars 30g, Fibre 1g, Protein 0.7g, Salt 0.08g


300g (10.5oz)
175g (3/4 cup)
200ml (7/8 cup)



Add all the ingredients to a saucepan over a low heat and keep stirring until all the sugar has dissolved.


Then remove from the heat and then pass the liquid through a sieve, squeezing as much liquid from the grated carrot as possible. Discard the carrot.


Put the liquid into the freezer to set, making sure to remove and stir it every hour, to stop large lumps of ice forming.
