125g (3/4 cup)
Popcorn Kernels
1.5 tsp
0.75 tsp

Method

Pour the oil into a very large pan, over a medium-high heat. Add the kernels to the pan and cover with the lid.

Wait for the kernels to start popping, then shake the pan gently every now and then to keep the kernels moving. When the popping slows to 2-3 seconds apart, remove the pan from the heat.

In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the paprika and salt. Use a spoon to drizzle the mixture over the popcorn, stirring as you go so that it coats everything evenly.

Pour into bowls or bags and serve.
