Marks & Spencer has today announced a further three products to be added to their hugely popular Plant Kitchen range this summer. As well as new plant-based sausages, the high street retailer is offering two new Plant Kitchen vegan ice creams.
The Plant Kitchen Chocolate & Vanilla cones are made up of a gluten-free biscuit cone topped with creamy chocolate and vanilla ice cream (similar to Walls’ Cornetto offering, of which a vegan option is available), while the Plant Kitchen Chocolate & Caramel Sticks are described as ‘indulgent caramel and vanilla ice creams wrapped in chocolate’.
While the new ice cream offerings are perfect for a cool summer treat, the new Plant Kitchen Posh Dogs will appeal to barbecue enthusiasts as the weather heats up; made with roasted mushrooms, soya, caremelised onion, black pepper and a blend of herbs, the new product joins the Chorizo Puppies that were launched earlier in the spring, and the Avoca-dough Burger Buns and Hot Dog Buns. With a range of ice creams and barbecue items, M&S is looking to be a one-stop shop for vegan outdoor dining this summer.
