Add the kidney beans and liquid, coconut milk, water, onion granules, garlic salt and dried thyme to a large saucepan and bring to the boil.

Once boiling, add the rice and reduce the heat so the liquid can gentle simmer for 25-35 minutes. Occasionally stir until the rice has cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
